Dr. Russo completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and earned his medical degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. He was honored with membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society for showing compassion and dedication in medicine.
He continued his training with a residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Virginia. There, he performed over 600 hip and knee replacement surgeries and focused on pain management techniques to improve recovery times.
